THE PARAGON AWARDS –
NCMPR’s prestigious Paragon Awards recognize outstanding achievement in communications at community and technical colleges. It’s the only national competition of its kind that exclusively honors excellence among marketing and PR professionals at two-year colleges.

SILVER PLACE –
Silver Place was awarded to the design and concept of the Golden West College e•Catalog. The concept was to provide an electronic version of the catalog content complete with video, color photography, and web links to a searchable schedule of classes; a more dynamic body of information with constant changes being made to class times, instructors, rooms, and capacity. The CD contained short Flash video files containing Administrators, Deans and instructors promoting the college. A Flash-based interactive quiz on the history of the college, the mascot and Athletic achievements over the years. The content met all Section 408 Accessibility requirements, provided quick navigation between course description and program information, and was produced at one quarter the cost of the printed black and white catalog.
